Vickie Silvas Co-Founder and Chief Designer
As Co-founder and Chief Designer for Outdoorease, Vickie creates the unique, one-of-a-kind designs that are screen printed by hand on all our products. As a curious kid growing up in South Texas, she recalls fond memories of exploring the outdoors and finding adventures on the family farm. As a Girl Scout, she enjoyed camping trips, hiking in Texas State Parks and playing in the waves off the Gulf Coast. Her love of the outdoors and a desire to better understand and protect our natural ecosystems inspired Vickie to pursue a bachelors degree in Ecology from Texas A&M University. After graduation, Vickie worked as a Park Naturalist and Educator for the City of San Antonio Natural Areas where she helped establish the first Master Naturalist Program in the nation. Vickie has since spent the past 20 years in education and health care, with a special interest in preventative and integrative medicine. Outdoorease is a blend of her passion for nature and wellness that provides opportunities to educate about the health benefits of nature while encouraging folks to get active and enjoy the outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, bicycling on her easy cruiser, riding her horse, swimming, playing tennis, gardening and taking in a evening sunset.
Daniel Silvas Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer
As Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer, Daniel is responsible for the finances and marketing for the company. Outdoorease is a natural extension of his work of encouraging people to go outdoors and get connected to their natural heritage. Daniel grew up in South Texas exploring and enjoying the outdoors with family and friends. Those formative years led him to Texas A&M University where he obtained a degree in Ecology and to Colorado State University where he earned a PhD in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources. Daniel has spent most of his adult life engaging diverse audiences in the stewardship and management of our natural resources. In his free time, he can be found fishing a local stream, riding on his easy cruiser, or just enjoying a cup of coffee and a taco outdoors!
Boo Kitty Quality Control Specialist
As the Quality Control Specialist, Boo Kitty inspects and approves every hand printed good we sell. When he is satisfied with the finished product, he gives his paw of approval.
Skipper Director of Fun
Meet our Director of Fun, Skipper. Skipper is a great outdoor companion and embodies the Outdoorease lifestyle with infectious enthusiasm. Whether fetching a ball at a local park or taking his owners on a stroll through the woods, he is always happy to go play outside!
Khassy Customer Liaison
As the Customer Liaison, Khassy is all ears and loves to interact with customers. She prefers the pampered outdoor experience which includes, hanging out in the pasture with friends, luxurious grooming treatments and picnics that include a bucket of horse cookies.
